Queen for a Day

Maybe Tina Fey needs to be a little more careful about who she works with.  Alec Baldwin's latest rage episode was childish and nasty, but the so-called apology is even worse.  Saying that you used the words "queen" and "bitch" as insults but *not* as a reference to the insultee's sexuality is as bad as saying you used the word "n****r" to mean "an obnoxious or ignorant person."  Paint Mr. Baldwin with the same brush as Ms. Deen, because his persistent misanthropy surfaces plainly every time someone irritates him.  Good thing actors must seldom rely on having good character.

  1. I'm not familiar with that term (or its origin term), but I like it!

  2. I made it up (I guess). When men start trying to explain their misogyny, people have taken to call it man-splaining.
