Back in 2006, church groups were<a href="http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1206813,00.html" target="_blank"> crying into their Bibles</a> over the blank check for sex this vaccine would be giving to 12-year-olds. Not to mention the infringement on parental rights (to withhold vaccinations and undermine the efficacy of "herd immunity," sometimes based solely on questionable science trotted out by <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jenny-mccarthy/ifrontlineis-the-vaccine_b_555785.html" target="_blank">D-list comediennes</a>). At the end of the day, I love this news, because it is the perfect response to this question: <a href="http://www.anh-europe.org/campaigns/vaccine-choice/hpv-vaccination#j2" target="_blank">"How do we know it will even be effective?"</a>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08253330990627350789noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6368570083111370857.post-25909892503379420852013-06-18T12:37:00.001-07:002013-06-18T12:47:11.982-07:00New Ideas, Old MethodsI started <a href="http://narcissa.blogspot.com/2002/07/like-virgin-why-blogging-eh-got.html" target="_blank">blogging </a>around the <a href="http://turnofthecentury.tumblr.com/" target="_blank">turn of the century</a>, and my blog posts were mainly<a href="http://narcissa.blogspot.com/2002/07/death-by-chocolate-what-hell-is-going.html" target="_blank"> links to news articles</a> with my own commentary. This was a common form back in the blog frontier days. Now, bloggers actually seem to be writing <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/" target="_blank"><i>the </i>news</a>. Or waxing nostalgic for five pages before posting someone else's recipe for <a href="http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2010/12/chicken-and-dumplings/" target="_blank">chicken and dumplings</a>. Posts on In Brief will be one hundred words or less, chock full of <a href="http://www.johnsonville.com/products/hot-links.html" target="_blank">juicy links</a>, and new each day(ish).<br />

Let's face it, you have your own opinions, you don't need to hear more than one hundred words of mine.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08253330990627350789noreply@blogger.com1
